NYC Media Lab will partner with university labs, media and technology executives, and startups from the CIty’s innovation ecosystem to bring 30 demos to Exploring Future Reality. Demo participants will receive complimentary admission to the event, which will host relevant discussions and ample networking opportunities.

DEADLINE: ROLLING UNTIL FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9. APPLYING IN EARLY INCREASES YOUR CHANCES.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR…

Styles of demonstrations:

Interactive/working/completed prototypes
Research posters for engineering and computer science related to future interfaces
Startup concepts/pitch decks
Prototyping concepts, design frameworks, or parts of larger prototyping concepts

Focus areas:

Prototypes that show how immersive media technologies can be applied within industries (media, entertainment, healthcare, education, advertising, sports, and city planning/urban development)
Technologies and innovations that have strong technical depth (computer science, data science, and engineering)
